Zhang Baosheng, Vice President of China University of Political Science and Law

Zhang Baosheng, male; born in 1956 in Beijing, Han nationality. He received his bachelor’s degree of philosophy from the department of philosophy of the number one school of Renmin University of China in 1983, master’s degree from the department of philosophy of Renmin University in 1987 and Ph.D from the law school of Renmin University in 1999. He has studied in the law school of University of Kent of the UK (in 2000) and law school of Northwestern University of USA (in 2002) as a visiting scholar. He used to be the director of scientific research division of the department of society and politics of the ministry of education, and was transferred to CUPL in December 2004. He is now a member of the Party’s standing committee of CUPL, Vice President, executive director of China Law Education Research Association, member of the Chinese side of the Academic Committee of Cooperative Higher Education between China and EU. He is mainly in charge of Scientific Research Department, the institutes, Publishing Department, Library, Modern Technology Education Center, Department of Science and Technology, Institute of Evidence Law and Forensic Science, and Zhong Guancun science and technology park of CUPL.
