The sixth session of CUPL alumni meeting begun, Yu Shiping discourse on how a judge works in details
|
The evening of November 16, 2007 marked the opening of the 2nd alumni meeting of CUPL. Yu Shiping, chief procurator of Tianjin Public Procuratorial Organ was invited to its 6th session, presided by Professor Yu Zhigang, dean of the School of Criminal and Judicatory Law.
During the meeting, Mr. Yu Shiping took the audience 23 years back of his own campus life and expressed his gratitude towards his Alma Mater, though this was his first time back to its Changping campus ever since.
With his more than 20 years of first hand experience, Yu told the audience how a judge works in details, and brought his own understanding of a judge and sentence practice. He also gave several copies of his new book to the students as presents.
