International Seminar on Property Rights Law successfully held in Rome, Italy by the Roman Law Research Center of CUPL

From November 29th to December 1st, 2007, an International Seminar on Property Rights Law was held in Rome, Italy. The seminar was organized by the Roman Law Research Center of CUPL, Italian National Commission for the 750th Birthday of Marco Polo, the University of Rome La Sapienza and the University of Rome Tor Vergata, and its theme was Roman law system and Chinese law -- the most up-dated legislation and the codification of Property Law in China. Professor Sandro Schipani, the famous jurist of Italy, and Professor Jiang Ping, honorary director of the Roman Law Research Center served as Co-Presidents in the Conference. 8 professors form Renmin University, Peking University, Jilin University Hunan University and CUPL of China and about 30 scholars such as Rescigno, M.Talamanca, P.Catalan, F.Busnelli, A.Di Porto, L.Colognesi, C.Scognamiglio, M.Timoteo, R. Cardilli, A.Masi and A. Petrucci from Italy attended it.
