View the three cardinal guides from new percepts——Professor Fang Zhaohui lectured in “Yinhe Baijia” series

On December 26th, the third lecture of the series “Yinhe Baijia” was held by the School of Marxism. Professor Fang Zhaohui, a historian from Tsinghua University, was invited to give a lecture about whether the three cardinal guides in Chinese cultural tradition should be abandoned in the modern democratic society of China. Many may answer “yes” for the backwardness of the three cardinal guides. However, Professor Fang believes that they are an important premise of a democratic society. In reasoning, his humor and knowledge deeply impressed the audience.
